Blood Captain Sharlyn - Gang Leader

A powerful leader in the Bloodied Hand, Sharlyn has risen through the ranks quickly thanks to her cunning and cruelty. She has no issues in claiming credit that one of her underlings has done, and throwing them under the wagon if it would serve her better to do so. Since she could remember, she has always been a part of a gang, from the child gangs that roam the streets for food, to the Bloodied Hand where she gets to put her real talents for death to use.

Physical Description

With red skin, purple hair, and slicked back horns with gold caps, she is an imposing sight. A long, golden chain hangs from one horn to her nose piercing and she has a variety of jewelry decorating her ears and neck. Her fingers dance along her sword's hilt, itching to use it.

Backstory

Born in the slums of Ferrum, Sharlyn has had to fight every day to survive in a city that cares nothing for those who can't make it. From a young age, she was part of child gangs and thief guilds, stealing from others, even those who had less than even she did. She never had a problem with such a life, it was the powerful that got to live in comfort, as the nobility and merchants proved time and time again in the city. If they broke the law, they merely had a slap on the wrist and a trivial fee, where as if someone like her broke the law - they lacked the money and influence to make it go away.

Sharlyn hopes to one day kill the leader of the Bloodied Hand, a hope she has kept close to her heart since she joined the gang almost ten years ago. She rose quickly through the ranks, from just a common second story worker, to a captain of a stronghold, to shadow officer, and finally to Blood Captain. With just one more barrier in her path, that of the Blood Leader himself, she is almost about to hold her goal

Adventure Hooks

Sharlyn is looking for a spy within the Bloodied Hand, and she thinks it might be one of her shadow officers. She hires the party to tail them and eliminate when they turn out to be a spy. She'll pay extra if it's painful.
The party interrupted a burglary that Sharlyn's crew in the Bloodied Hand was attempting and now she is looking to get revenge on them.
Sharlyn has become a most wanted figure for the Ferrum Watch, and they are paying quite the reward to have her arrested... alive.

**Falconer by Aria Chen Lu**; Art inspiration for Xander

Xander Currante - Falconer

Xander is a falconer, a specialty animal trainer who only works with birds of prey. He began his apprenticeship at the young age of five years after showing a natural aptitude for working with falcons. Xander is normally quiet and introspective but can be quite charming when speaking with clients. At only 20 years of age, he holds the title of master falconer and has traveled far with Ginger, his personal falcon and companion.

Physical Description

Xander's thin frame is misleading, as his taut muscles give him surprising strength and mobility. His curly mop of dark hair is normally unkempt but clean and his eyes are bright.

Backstory

Xander grew up in an average middle class family, his father and mother running a small delivery service. He spent his formative years training under Guther, a retired ranger holding the highest ranking of falconers in the land. Now a master trainer, Xander has worked with the military, training the birds to act as spies for them. As falconry is the hobby of the wealthy and nobility, Xander is currently on retainer for one of the lesser nobles in the area.

Adventure Hooks

An unknown creature is killing birds of prey that Xander is training. He wants it to stop by whatever means necessary.
Xander is hired for a long range scouting mission. The military hires the party to accompany Xander and protect him and Ginger during the investigation.
