Kinko - Songful Adventurer

It wasn't Kinko's fault, at least that's what he believes. The adventurers who stole the dragon egg would've killed him too if he had been there for the invasion. Unfortunately, the rest of his clan doesn't see things that way and gave him an 'ul-tomato'. Either bring back the stolen dragon egg or die. Kinko was never one for death or pain or discomfort, so he has vowed to find the stolen dragon egg and bring it back... somehow.

Physical Description

Kinko stands just a few inches shy of 4-feet, with dark purple lizard scales, and a mouth of sharp teeth. He is accompanied by a cacophony of noise and sound with every step he takes, as he is loaded down with drums, tambourines, a harmonica on a mouth strap, and even an accordion he fashioned from leather skinned from a rat.

Backstory

Kinko has only ever wanted to bring music to the world, though his clan just shrieks and throw things at him. They lack the ability to appreciate his charming music, at least in Kinko's superior opinion. Ever since he was a hatchling he knew he wanted to create music, and his clan was confident they didn't want to hear any of it. There were many days when he'd try to create instruments when the older kobolds would break or trash it after only a few minutes of his off-beat music and out of tune singing voice.

The Visitors. With the constant abuse by his peers, Kinko began practicing his music further and further away from his home. During one such jam session, a mile away from his home, he saw smoke coming from his home and the sound of distant screams. He ran to the cavern tunnels that made up his and his' clans home - only to find dead kobolds and sprung traps. Racing through the complex, there was a clear path that cut through the tunnels leading to the dragon egg that the clan watched for decades, hoping that one day it would hatch and they would have a dragon ruler that would help them conquer the world.

All that remained of the nest were kobold bodies twisted in death, the egg stolen by a group of adventurers. In the days after the event, the clan decided it was Kinko's fault. His music led them to the kobolds, and if he had been there, they either could've used Kinko as a meatshield or beaten back the adventurers. It was then decided it would be Kinko's sacred task to hunt across the world and retrieve the stolen dragon egg from the party of adventurers who stole it. With a heavy heart and his wide variety of instruments, Kinko set off into the world in search of the missing dragon egg.

Adventure Hooks

Kinko heard that at the very bottom of a dungeon in the region is said to be a very wise monster who can tell Kinko where to go. Kinko just isn't sure he can make it through the many monsters and levels in the way.
There is said to be a magical instrument within a music college, but the headmasters refuse to let Kinko play it. Kinko wishes to play it, and maybe even keep it. He just can't figure out how to sneak in and get it since his music keeps waking everyone up.
There is a group of adventurers staying in the same settlement that Kinko is passing through, and he swears they look familiar. He wants to hire someone to see if they happen to have stolen a dragon egg before, and if so - where is the egg. After that, he wants to kill them.

Yvon Rolath - Lounge Performer

An alluring tiefling, Yvon Rolath's smoky voice could have landed her in some of the largest venues throughout the continent. Fame is not Yvon's motivation. Gold is. Yvon can make more money from a single target than she could as a headline singer in a year. Yvon's voice has several unique qualities, the most important to her being able to charm those that, in her opinion, have more than they deserve. These benefactors remain under Yvon's spell until she has taken what she feels is her fair share.

Physical Description

Seductive and beautiful, Yvon has lush, long grey hair. Her blue skin glimmers in the dark light of the places she performs. She always wears expensive but understated jewelry and is dressed in fine clothes at all times.

Backstory

Raised by her mother in the city of Achaab, Yvon dealt with the same struggles other tiefling children endured. Yvon had it easier than her tiefling friends, as her beautiful voice would turn those who might mistrust her into friends, if only for a short while. Her mother, a bartender in a small tavern located near the merchant district, often brought Yvon to keep her safe and eat a hot meal. Seeing an opportunity to make a little coin, Yvon would often sing about love and sorrow, controlling the audience's emotions like a symphony conductor.

Realizing the power her silky voice had over men and women, Yvon traveled Talia, charming the wealthy into giving her various gifts and coin. Yvon has settled in Ferrum, tired of the road, and now working as the house singer at the Tipsy Mouse Tavern. She only targets one or two wealthy individuals a year, keeping them under her spell for long enough not to raise suspicion.

Family members of one of Yvon's victims has found her and wants everything she stole back, one way of another.
It turns out that a noble Yvon has been seducing is the target of an assassination plot. She wants you to foil the attempt to kill him so she can take more of his gold.
A high-ranking military officer under Yvon's spell is preparing to start a war with a neighboring nation, which could result in the destruction of both parties.
